I got a strange bug where the automatic resolution scaling was cutting off the edges of the level on my screen. A windowed mode would help.
From what I'm able to play, lemme say this though:
The music is great. If you made this during the jam you should be proud of it.
As far as the mechanic goes, I've seen this mechanic on several occasions before. It seems to be a favorite among jammers. The tracks constantly pushing you in one direction are new from the stuff I've seen. It forces the player to think quickly. I found it to be a bit frustrating due to the controls feeling loose on top of the tracks trying to make me move fast (The horizontal movement speed suffers from what I like to refer to as "Hamster on Crack Syndrome"), but I'd be curious to see if it would be a more enjoyable experience after tweaking the movement.
I wish I could talk about the level design, but like I said it's bugged out on my machine so I only completed a level and a half by guessing what was cut off off-screen.
The art is great. Is the MC sprite taken from Celeste or is it just very similar?
